We are happy to present the second annual session of Sırrı Yırcalı Anatolian High School Model United Nations Conference for the high schoolers, following the theme ‘Perfection is Back in Town’, back in-person at the High School of Sırrı Yırcalı! Make sure you read Rules of Procedure at least once before attending the conference.

A Letter from Secretary-General:

Distinguished Participants ;

As the Secretary – General responsible for 2nd edition of Sırrı Yırcalı Anatolian High School Model United Nations which will be held on 21-23 October, it is my utmost honor to welcome you all in the name of my academic and organization team.

During the three days of SYALMUN22, delegates will be trying to create a better world by simulating all kinds of global issues. In this edition of SYALMUN, we have 8 committees : United Nations Security Council (UNSC), Disarmament and International Security Commitee (DISEC), The Legal Committee (LEGAL), Economic and Soucil Council (ECOSOC), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees(UNHCR), International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and JCC(Joint Crisis Commitee) will take place in our conference.

I highly recommend everyone to read Rules of Procedure and have a great chance to attend this marvelous conference. I can ensure you that this conference will enable you to gain lots of experience. Don’t miss the chance.

In this light of aims, I would like to deliver my gratitude to my lovely academic and organization team for their greatless effort and passion throughout the process of getting ready for this conference. In addition, I would like to thank ‘Golden Trio’ , a nick name for Director-General Dilara Çetin, Conference Manager Ada Surat and Secretary-General İlayda Başaran, for being with me all the time

This year’s conference will feature 10 committees, catering to complete beginners as well as seasoned MUN purists. These committees have been designed by our Organising Committee members and include a mix of traditional and non-traditional committees and topics that will be discussed. We can’t wait to see the debates and discussions unfold among the delegates!
